Xander, talking to an upset Willow.
Xander: Will. Buffy loves us. She just needs this.
Cut to Buffy lying in a tiny bed. A wet sock lands in her face with a splat.
Xander (V.O): She's spent the last seven years fighting evil on the Hellmouth and she needs a break. That's all.

Cut to Dawn sitting at a bench outside, talking with a couple of friends.
Friend: Dawn, you have the coolest family ever.
Dawn looks down at her lunch, dejectedly.
Friend: How did you wind up wanting to do boring stuff when you have all these awesome people around you?

Cut to Andrew in a kitchen talking with a young girl.
Girl: So, this is sort of a Bermuda Triangle of evil.
Andrew claps his hands together, beaming.
Andrew: Exactly!

Cut to Giles and Wood talking in a restaurant.
Giles: With Slayers awakening around the world... There are just so many of them now.
Fade to Giles having a meeting with important looking people, surrounding a table strewn with papers.
Male Voice (V.O.): We could have a branch on every major continent before the decade is out.
Fade to a group of Slayers doing jumping jacks in unison, Kennedy pacing in front of the group.
Giles (V.O.): A veritable army of slayers. Few could stand against them.

Cut to Faith talking with a different girl in a living room.
Faith: Tonight, 'bout eight? Be ready.
Girl: Ready for what?
Cut to the same girl, pinned to the ground by a vampire lowering its fangs to her throat.
Faith (V.O.): For your life to change.

Cut to Xander in front of the television, a collection of empty beer bottles at his side.
Willow (V.O.): These mood swings, with the TV and the drinking and... This can't go on.
Cut to Xander talking with Willow, face-to-face.
Xander: You're right. That's why I'm leaving.
